One bird found on 3 September 2026 by Jana Schader and Amara Mohan at Old Glue Pot Dam in South Australia, likely representing a recent return from wintering in the north. Observed at 5pm foraging at the edges and around the islands on the northern edge of the dam amongst black-fronted dotterels. Photo by Jana Schader and Amara Mohan.
